BSQ2020 Check List

With us being two months out from Big South, it is time for us to start preparing our rosters for check-in. Please review the checklist information below thoroughly:

Check List:

Thursday, April 2nd, 6pm EST: All Rosters must be imported and validated.

- Monday, April 6th, 10am EST: Online Team Check-In opens

- Wednesday, April 8th, 6pm EST: Online Team Check-In must be completed (no exceptions)

- Thursday, April 9th, 6pm EST: No changes can be made to rosters

- Each person listed on a team's official roster must have a valid USAV Full Membership.

  • This does not apply to Foreign Teams.

- All requirements must be complete in order for your roster to be "validated" in SportWrench before you complete the Online Team Check-in process.

Common Roster Validation How-To's & Issues:

Player SafeSport:

USAV now requires all players who will be turning 18 before the end of the event to comply with SafeSport. You will receive a roster validation error if an athlete who meets these parameters is uploaded from WebPoint and does not comply with their SafeSport requirements. You can find this information here in the USAV Manual. We have also attached a snippet for you below:

  • "Rostered Athlete Requirements All rostered players must be FULL MEMBERS of a Region of USA Volleyball. Athletes turning 18 during the season, whose teammates are minors, will be required to take "Core" Center for SafeSport training upon turning 18. To prevent any disruption in play, the center will allow athletes who are 17, turning 18 during the season to take "Core" given parental consent. Once a player turns 18, he or she will not be permitted to continue play until "Core" SafeSport training has been completed. Complete the parental consent form before registering for training if you have a minor athlete who needs to take the training. Once the form is completed, your child will be enrolled in SafeSport training. A notification of registration will be sent to the email address on file to access the course."

DO NOT DO ANOTHER IMPORT TO TRY AND PULL THEIR CERTIFICATES THROUGH. Once your players complete SafeSport, please email so we can pull it through to our system

Import your roster from WebPoint:

  • Login 

  • Click on “My Club” 

  • Click on the “Athletes” tab

  • Click on the blue button that says “Important from USAV WebPoint” 

  • In the popup, enter your WebPoint username and WebPoint password 

  • Click the “Start Import” button at the bottom

  • Please be patient, it can take a while especially with large clubs

Are you getting an invalid username/password when trying to import?:

  • Make sure you are using your WEBPOINT log-in information, not your SportWrench log-in information

  • To confirm you are using the correct log-in information, go to, if it accepts it, it is correct!

  • If it is not correct, contact your region or USAV to get the correct information.

If players are not imported directly to a team, no issue! Follow the below instructions:

  • Login

  • Click on the “athletes” tab

  • Select your athlete and click their name

  • Click the drop down in the Team field

  • If all that shows up is “unassigned” select it, scroll down and click apply.

  • Then reopen the players name, and you should be able to select their team.

  • Select their team

  • Scroll down and click apply

A player’s age not showing up?:

  • Login

  • Click on the “athletes” tab

  • Select your athlete and click their name

  • **Just scroll down and click apply.

  • The age should now appear, and you should be able to add them to a team

A players Jersey number or position not showing up?:

  • Login

  • Click on the “athletes” tab

  • Find your athlete

  • Under the “Pos” column, click the pencil icon and type in their position

  • Under the “Uni” column, click the pencil icon and type in their jersey number

Staff’s SafeSport not showing up but you KNOW they have it?:

  • Login

  • Click on the “Staff” tab

  • Find your coach and click the blue “check” button to the right of their name

  • If their SafeSport is in WebPoint, it will pull through.

  • If it does not, it means their certification is not in WebPoint

  • You will need to contact your region or USAV to see why it is not

Waves & Schedule:

  • Waves will be updated and posted in Mid-March

  • The schedule will be released on Wednesday, April 8th at 6pm EST

Spectator Ticket Sales:

  • Tickets will be available on April 6th, 2020 at 10am EST

  • Please review all ticket information on our Spectators Admissions page
